SHOOTING THE INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGNS
(as told by Phil)
Tyler and I did not move out to the West Coast to pursue acting careers, so trying to create videos for our Indiegogo Campaigns made for quite a story. Luckily for us, our editing crew was able to perform some magic here and there to make our shoot look a tad smoother than it actually went. It was tough to get complete shots without one of us cracking a joke or getting that "deer in a headlight" stare before cracking up w/ our friends helping out with sound, lighting, etc. In order to capture good takes, we had to utilize some old fashion tricks of the trade... courtesy of our friend Evan.
After making those videos for IGG, I can say we have mad respect for actors and their talents that flow so seamlessly on camera. It was nearly impossible for Tyler and I get across our message without being too serious or too goofy. Our blooper reel is in the making so be prepared for some great entertainment when we release that gem.
It's fitting to give respect and credit where credit is due for making our Indiegogo campaigns happen, so we would like to give a few shout-outs to the following people:
-The gentlemen at Rockhaven Films for flying out to LA from Kansas and helping us out big time with the entire production. (http://www.rockhavenfilms.com/)
-Our close and insanely talented friend Micheal Johannson, the espresso indulgent Swede who flew in from Australia to hang, help, and kick it LA-style to get the production where it needed to be. (http://pictionary.se)
-Our close friend John-Michel Triana for being willing to help direct each shoot (http://www.thejeanmichel.com/) and put some signature touches on everything "OJOS" that you see to date. (http://www.thejeanmichel.com/)
- Our close friend Ledoux VanVeckhoven and the boys from Pangea Swimwear for always being good friends and letting us shoot in your backyard. (http://www.pangeaswim.com/)
